Submit up to 5 of your strongest, original nature, wildlife, or landscape photographs. Your entry can be submitted either as standalone images or as a cohesive series documenting the natural world.

1. Submission Formats

Choose the format that best fits your work:

• Single Decisive Frames: Up to 5 independent, powerful images that capture a unique encounter, a rare behavior, or a breathtaking natural vista.

• A Natural History or Ecosystem Series: A series of up to 5 images linked together to tell the story of a specific species, a changing environment, or a natural process over time.

2. Thematic Focus & Subject Matter

We are looking for compelling visual documentation of the beauty, complexity, and fragility of the natural world. Acceptable themes include:

• Wildlife Behavior: Candid captures of animals in the wild—mating rituals, hunting, nurturing, migration, or social interactions.

• Landscapes & Wilderness: Untouched vistas, dramatic weather, geological formations, and celestial events in natural settings.

• Macro & Micro Worlds: Intimate details of flora, fungi, insects, and abstract textures found in the wilderness.

• Conservation & Ecology: Images that highlight the health of an ecosystem, the intersection of wildlife and human habitats, or the challenges currently facing our natural world.

3. Technical Specifications

• Resolution & Sharpness: Submit your sharpest, highest-resolution frames to capture fine details like feathers, fur, textures, and foliage.

• Allowed Editing: Standard professional adjustments—such as cropping, exposure correction, white balance, and contrast—are permitted. However, editing must be subtle and accurately reflect the original scene.

4. Authenticity & Integrity Policy

• Strict Ownership: Every image must be captured, processed, and fully owned by you.

• Ethical Conduct: We prioritize the welfare of animals and the environment. Any image found to be the result of animal harassment, baiting, or trespassing into restricted habitats will be disqualified.

• Zero Tolerance for Manipulation: Plagiarism, stock photography, heavy compositing (e.g., adding animals or elements to a scene), and any form of AI-generated or AI-assisted content will result in immediate disqualification.

A: Any creator based in India over 18 years of age can participate — hobbyist and professional nature photographers alike, with no experience restrictions.

Q: How are entries judged?

A: Judging happens in two stages. First, the WallMag creator community votes on every entry, and the Top 100 entries with the most community votes become the finalists. Only after the finalists are announced does the expert jury begin — reviewing those 100 finalists to select the Top 3 winners. In short: the community vote decides the Top 100 finalists, and the jury decides the winners.

Q: How many entries can I submit, and must they be original?

A: You may submit up to 5 original works that you captured and own. Copied, stock, or AI-generated images are disqualified.

Q: What do winners and finalists receive, and when?

A: Partner-brand rewards, WallMag Creator Magazine features, and recognition certificates — distributed within about a week of the winner announcement.

Q: Are AI-generated or stock images allowed?

A: No. Only genuine nature photography you shot yourself is eligible; any violation leads to immediate disqualification. Q: How do I add proof of ownership to my submitted project? A: Open the award page and go to your “My Submissions” tab, then tap “Submit Proof” on the entry. Add a short statement confirming the work is your own, along with an optional supporting file such as your original/RAW file or source. You can do this any time while the award is open. Adding proof protects your entry during judging and is required later to unlock your certificate. Q: How are the Top 100 finalists decided? A: The Top 100 finalists are decided purely by the WallMag creator community vote — the 100 entries with the highest community votes become finalists. The expert jury does not take part at this stage. Jury voting begins only after the Top 100 finalists are announced, and it decides the Top 3 winners from among those finalists.
