The award invites originals across pop, rock, indie, electronic, fusion, and beyond — judged on songwriting, production craft, and creative voice. Entries are evaluated through a curated industry jury alongside an open community vote, recognising both originality and execution. Selected creators earn national visibility, partner brand collaboration opportunities, and a place in WallMag's independent music legacy.

What to Upload
Submit up to 5 of your strongest, original independent music works. Each submission may include a single piece or a coherent set telling one story. We are excited about original tracks you wrote, recorded, produced, and released — singles, EPs, or full albums — with full ownership of masters and rights.
Submissions must be your own original work and ownership. Do not upload AI-generated, stock-licensed, or plagiarised content — entries containing these will be disqualified without refund. Submit at the highest available quality the platform allows.

Q: Who can participate in the WallMag Independent Music Creator Awards 2026?
A: Any creator based in India over 18 years of age can participate. There are no genre or experience restrictions within independent music.
Q: How are winners selected?
A: Submissions go through a two-stage evaluation: an open community vote shortlists the Top 100 finalists, and a curated industry jury picks the Top 3 winners from the finalists.
Q: How many submissions can I make?
A: You can submit up to 5 original independent music works. Submissions must be your own — duplicate, plagiarised, or stolen content will be disqualified.
Q: How are prizes and certificates distributed?
A: Partner brand discount coupons are emailed to winners and finalists within 7 days of the winner announcement. Certificates and Creator Magazine features follow the published timeline.
Q: Can I submit cover songs or do they need to be originals?
A: Both are welcome where the award name allows it. Cover Artist Awards require covers; Vocalist, Rap, Guitar, and Independent Music Creator Awards expect original work or distinctive covers credited to the original artist. Always own your master recording.
