WallMag Artist of the Year Awards 2026

Judged based upon work

The WallMag Artist of the Year Awards 2026 celebrate the creators who make India look like India - the painters, illustrators, digital artists, sculptors, and craftspeople working out of studios, hostel rooms, and family workshops. This is a pan-medium, pan-tradition national award: no gatekeeping by training, gallery history, or following, only your work and a community ready to see it. Every entry is judged by the WallMag creator community alongside an expert art jury, so recognition is both credible and community-backed. Winners and finalists earn national visibility, partner-brand rewards, and a lasting place in WallMag's celebration of India's most compelling art.

What to Upload

Submit up to 5 of your strongest, original artworks - as a painter, illustrator, digital artist, sculptor, or craftsperson. Each submission may be a single piece or a coherent series that tells one story.

We are excited about art you conceived and made by hand or by tool and fully own - any medium, any scale, any tradition. You may enter as a photo of the physical work, a digital file, or a process video.

Submissions must be your own original work and ownership. Do not upload AI-generated, stock-licensed, traced, or plagiarised content - entries containing these will be disqualified without refund. Photograph physical work flat, evenly lit, and uncropped, at the highest available quality the platform allows.
